Sudarshana Chakra

Sudarshana Chakra (Sanskrit:सुदर्शन चक्र, lit. “disc of auspicious vision”, IAST: sudarśana cakra) is a spinning, discus weapon with 108 serrated edges, used by the Hindu god Vishnu or Krishna. The Sudarshana Chakra is generally portrayed on the right rear hand of the four hands of Vishnu, who also holds a shankha (conch shell), a Gada (mace) and a padma (lotus) In the modern times the Sudarsana Chakra was deployed in the year 2009 by Om Lord Vishnu after the Brahmastra was sent in martyaloka in the year 2007 to save the earth apprehending destruction. It multiplied in innumerable numbers and went all around the earth in the brahmya muhurta.
